It week 4 over here at Portrait Studios and the songs are sounding amazing! Things are almost wrapped up, but they certainly are not winding down. We're still movin at full speed and cant stop, wont stop. uh ah uh ah. All thats left are vocals and some lead guitar parts. As of right now we've got 15 tracks down. One is a cover song, and one is a track we've redone from our old demos. We're real proud of the material and can't wait till its released.
We hope to be posting at least 3 video updates this week from the footage we've been filming over the course of the last 2 weeks. One will be a short tour of the studio. The others, well i guess you'll just have to wait and see for yourself. But for now check out these pictures.

Studio Update #2: Naked Ancient Chinese Finger Exercises
Hey y'all! Well we began bass today and Little Steve has spent all morning doing naked ancient chinese finger exercises. It's kinda weird...but still pretty amazing! Things are moving along great. We cant wait for everyone to hear the new songs.
We'll it's day 4 over here in Portrait Studios and things are runnin on schedule. We've been havin a great time. A bunch of our friends have been stoppin by to hang out. Some regulars, and some suprises.
We're really excited about all the new songs. they are comin along nicely. We will finish up drums today and start bass tmrw. Then next week we start guitar and maybe some vocals. We are in here till Oct 17th so we are takin our time and makin the best record we can.
Unfortunately, i can not find my camera, so no video update for this week. Hopefully ill find it for next week. So in the mean time, show us your support and leave us some comments.

A lot of people have been asking us recently about a few things concerning Trav and Ryan's mom, Adam, and tour. Here's what we have to say about all of it;
-Trav and Ryan's mom is doing completely better. She had a full recovery and is completely healthy. We thank all of you for your prayers and messages.
-Here is our "official statement" concerning any questions about Adam:
In the past two years as a band, we (Crash Romeo) have gone through a lot together. We signed to Trustkill Records and put out our first album "Minutes to Miles", toured the country and have played countless shows. There were fun times and hard times but no matter what was going on, we always worked things out. Unfortunately, sometimes situations get too complicated and things and people change. Recently, Adam Nordmeyer has chosen to leave Crash Romeo due to private and personal reasons. We wish him the best of luck and all the success in the world in his new endeavors.
As for the rest of us in Crash Romeo, we are NOT breaking up. We're stickin to it. We all have the dedication and drive to keep rockin and bringing you great music. We plan on touring as much and as often as possible through-out the New Year. There is just one complication; we no longer have a mode of transportation. We know it's a lot to ask, but we are putting our faith into the fans and friends that we have made and are asking you to help us out. We will be setting up a Pay-Pal account for any sort of donations that you might be able to send our way so that we can buy a new vehicle(donation button is on our myspace page) . Anything that you could donate would help us out a great deal. We really want to get back out on the road and play for all of you again (or for the first time).
We are working as hard as humanly possible and at full force to be the best band out there. Thanks to everyone for your support. We hope to see you all out at the shows. Check our myspace page regularly for updates on tours and other things that we will have going on.
-Now as far as tour goes, the dates that we have on our page are all confirmed. The only problem we have right now is getting there(as mentioned above). We are working real hard to find a rig for this tour. So please, if you can spare a few bucks to help us out we would really appreciate it.
That basically sums it all up. Thank you so much for your support and understanding in all of this. We're lookin forward to getting back out on the road soon and have a lot of plans to tour for the rest of the year.

Happy New Year everyone! 2006 was kinda slow on the Crash front, but we promise to be hitting all your towns again and if we didnt before, then for the first time in the new year. We've got a busy schedule so far for the New Year. We will be going out with Minutes Too Far(Doghouse) in late Jan/Feb(dates to come soon) and are working on South by SouthWest and the Bamboozle Festival. We even have some stuff for April being finalized. So please stick with us.
Our New Years Resolution is to tour more and to update our Journal a lil bit more often...haha

So we just found out that we have been added to tomorrows date of the Lions, Tigers and Bears Tour featuring Bayside, The Loved Ones, I and the Avalanche and The Sleeping. The show is in Buffalo NY at Icon. Doors at 6pm. Cost is $10adv/$12dos. We are opening the show so everyone get there early because i've heard that it is already sold out.....
Hey, we just got back home from playing Roses are Red's CD relase show, thanks for everyone in Rochester that came out to see us and everyone that sang along it was awesome!!! congrats to Roses are Red thier new album is amazing everyone should pick it up!!! Our album has been out for a couple weeks now and is doing really well so if you havent yet GO BUY IT!! Stay tuned for summer tour plans we are really psyched to be playing in you state very soon!
Last night on the 2006 MTV movie awards two Crash Romeo songs were played 'Die in you arms" and Get up shut up"...we hope everyone saw it, it was awsome!
