Hey everyone. HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hope you all had an awesome holiday.
I, for one, am very excited for 2008...
I know you haven't heard much from the RAR camp in a while. Truth is, 2007 was probably the craziest year of my life. But, I've been busy rebuilding (again). I've just begun writing for a new EP that will hopefully be released sometime late spring/early summer.
Keep an eye (ear) out for a new demo to be posted sometime in January or Feb.
Thanks to everyone who has shown support over the past year. See you all in 2008. Keep in touch.

Roses Are Red is missing a Michael Kelly acoustic guitar. The guitar was last seen at their October 8th show in Sayreville, NJ at The Starland Ballroom. The guitar hold much sentimental value. If you know anything about the whereabouts of this guitar and could help the band in getting it back, please e-mail RARCentral@gmail.com with any information you may have. Thanks very much!
Hey everyone. Vincent from Roses Are Red here. Checking in from 96 West heading toward Grand Rapids, MI. We are on tour with A Change Of Pace and Showbread right now and it has been a fucking blast! We just want to say thanks to everyone who has been coming out to the shows and having a good time with us, and for saying hi. We've made so many new friends on this tour. Feels good.
We have 2 more shows with ACOP and Showbread, then we head down to Oklahoma to start our trek westward with Rookie Of The Year. This will be our first time on the west coast since our new album came out and we're SUPER excited to see all our friends out there again.
And don't forget, we are selling our brand new album "What Became Of Me" on this tour for only $7.00, so be sure to stop by the merch table and pick up your copy. We like it a lot. We think you will too.
So thanks again to everyone on the east coast for making this tour with ACOP and Showbread so much fun. West coast, here we come!
So I just got a Sidekick 3. Stoked on it. I had to take all new photos of people i know for the photo caller ID. So far, I only have the people in our band and crew.
So last night we played hands down the funnest show on the tour so far...Hartford. I mean sure we got a little lost getting there and the street on mapquest didn't exist....so what! The webster theater rules, and so do the dressing rooms.
Then!
After the show we stayed some new friends we just met and they had an x-box with like EVERY SNES AND NES GAME!!! So, when faced with the decision of what game to play....mike tyson punch out. Oh yuuuuuup. Mike and Vinny switched on and off trying to beat tyson in the final stage...and that shits mad hard. So Mike stayed up till 5am then finaly beat dat mo fo!
So now were all mad tired and makin ght drive to Boston...but first were stopping at SJC hq so mike can get his drum kit fixed up...
So this is tomzenns! Here checking in from Long Island...the tour has been going awesome so far. The first 5 shows with Dave Mellio were really sweet, and since Showbread has joined forces with us and A Change Of Pace the shows have just been amazing. Tons of kids showin mad love.

Hey guys. Sorry for the lack of updates lately. We've been super busy with the release of the new album and such. So much going on...
So anyway, we're home for a couple weeks now. We've never really been home for any amount of time during the summer, so it will be nice for a change. Get to swim, grill, enjoy the nice weather.
So last week was our CD release show in Rochester. It was an awesome time. Super Super hot though. Thanks to Bedlight, Crash Romeo, and Florence for making the trip to rock with us that night. We had alot of fun.
We also played with Hawthorne Heights in Rochester this past week. For those of you who've been fans of RAR for a long time, you will remember that one of our first tours after we were signed was with HH. Anyway, they were nice enough to get us on their show here in Rochester. That show was a fucking BLAST. We played for and met TONS of new kids from Rochester, which was awesome. Thanks to all of you guys for rocking out with us, and for the kind words.
We have some exciting things in the works right now:
Our new live video for "Failing" should be launched sometimes next week. We're super excited about that.
Also, we have some tours in the works for July into September that will be really awesome. We'll keep you posted on that.
Thanks to everyone who has picked up the new CD. We hope you like it! If you haven't yet, don't forget to pick up your copy. We think you'll like it.
See everyone soon...
