Crash Romeo BIO
The past few years have been exciting for Crash Romeo. In 2006, they signed to Trustkill Records and released their successful debut, ‘Minutes to Miles’. The album was heralded by the press and Outburn Magazine said, “Trustkill has definitely struck gold, Minutes to Miles is a pleasant and beguiling album - a diamond in the rough of an oversaturated genre.” In early 2006 they began touring hard behind the album. Stints on Warped Tour 2006/2007 and shows with Bayside, Alesana, Bedlight For Blue Eyes, and Mayday Parade helped them crack wide open and grow their fanbase.
Now, after all that craziness has died down, Crash Romeo is ready to rekindle that excitement with their sophomore effort entitled ‘Gave Me The Clap’. In 2007, the NJ natives entered Portrait Studios with producer Chris Badami, who also worked with The Starting Line and The Early November, to create 11 tracks of pop-punk genius. From the time the first single "Popular" was released, people have been anxious for the album. "We think the new songs rock... hopefully our fans will think they do as well," singer Travis Weber commented about the new material. "This record will have something for everyone. We have songs that make you dance, songs that make you want to party, songs that will make you cry, and songs that will make you just want to break something in your room." Even Alternative Press said that the album has, "Hooks, melodies, and classic song writing of power pop, meshed with younger punk aggression."
On March 25, 2008, the world will get ‘the clap’ when Crash Romeo delivers ‘Gave Me The Clap’ to unsuspecting kids everywhere. Catch them on tour all year long.
