Q: Do I need a profile to make a post?
A: No, you do not. You can post with any username you want as long as a profile has not yet been created with that exact username.

Q: On the stats page, what does "weighted count" mean?
A: You see, if you put "Misfits" as your #1 pick for 'Favorite Band', then it gets assigned 10 points. Your #10 pick gets assigned only 1 point. (#2 pick gets 9 points, and so on and so forth, you get the idea). All those points get added up and compiled into the database for the final tally. It changes all the time as people update their profiles and as more people make them.

Q: How do I post a picture?
A: The picture you want to post has to be uploaded somewhere on the internet. You can use any of the free hosting services like Angelfire, Geocities, etc. Once your photo has a unique URL, then you just include the URL in the "Image URL" input box in your post and, voila, it will be there (assuming you didn't mistype the URL).

Q: On the Hellfest trailer, who is the band that sings "Nothing makes me smile!"?
A: Actually, he is saying "YOUR PAIN makes me smile" and it's Another Victim off their latest demo CD. It's got good mosh parts and we are close friends with those lads, that is why we put it in there, okay?

Q: I tried to make a profile and it didn't work, how come?
A: You MUST have cookies enabled in your browser for it to work. Turn them on and try again.

Q: How does the "Most Attractive" poster get tallied?
A: Well, the entire Trustkill Staff sits down each night and votes on who the most attractive posters are on the messagebored. This is where the numbers come from. Oh yeah, and we have some swampland in Florida to sell you too.

Q: How come you didn't include (insert random band with one demo here) in the "Favorite Bands" section of the profiles?
A: The only way to be able to compile everyone's favorite bands into a cool statistics page for the messagebored was to list them for you, as people make too many spelling errors and it would not have worked correctly. We think we did a pretty good job listing all the bands that kids that come here would actually choose (600+), if we forgot one, woops. Maybe we'll add it later.

Q: My city is not listed. Why not? We have a great scene blah blah blah...
A: Again, it's for the statistics page. Just choose the CLOSEST city. Don't worry, you will still have mad Constantia pride if you choose Syracuse, NY as your city. Or you can just choose 'Elsewhere in the United States' if, for some reason, you live no where near any city listed.

Q: I have this really cool photo but it is bigger than 50K and won't work on the profiles page, what should I do?
A: You need to somehow make it 50K or smaller. Programs such as Photoshop or Graphic Converter should do the trick. The maximum kilobytes for the profile picture are actually quite high and it is very easy to make a photo that small in size, you just have to change compression.

A: Take it like a man. Try poking fun at them in an interesting and intelligent manner. Do NOT email us and complain, we really just do not care.
