Conundrum

This record is a compilation of all their hard to find tracks. Awesome layout as is the norm for a Trustkill release. This is a must have for anybody who loves The Keeper. It's a document of where they've come from and where they're headed.

Value Of Strength

This is a fine discography of previous, non Trustkill, released records of Brother's Keeper. This is a good way to get in touch with a great US bands for all kids in Europe who haven't heard of Brother's Keeper before. I think that Brother's Keeper is a band to keep your eyes wide open for. This record includes all great hits like "Xhardcore songX", "Ladder", "Shadowcast" and of course not to forget the Bad Brains cover song called "I against I".

Exclaim!

This collection of unreleased, hard to find and compilation tracks would have been infinitely more interesting if the band had put the songs in chronological order, starting with their older material like "The Gift," "Chorus of Anger," and "Shadowcast." The listener would be able to trace their progression from a bare bones, mid-paced plodding hardcore band to a definite violent musical force with much improved musicianship and cohesiveness. The evidence of this improvement is clearly laid out in the excellence of tracks like "Hardcore Song" and "Four Five Sick." By ordering the CD tracks chronologically, one could also trace the development of vocalist Mike Ski from his early days of hardcore bellowing to his present state, where he sounds like a man who fellates columns of 100-grain sandpaper and gargles boric acid. This man's voice is truly the sickest thing I've ever heard, but he's entertaining and in some weird way that catches your ear and fits the surrounding din.

Hanging Like A Hex

If you listen to this thing on super fast speed you can hear Mike Ski's voice go from screeching to bellowing like some audio flipbbok. It's really quite amazing. This discography captures all of BK's comp tracks and pre-"Continuum" work, including the "Ladder" and "Shadowcast" 7". Honestly, I think the gruff Mike sounds better, sort of climaxing at "ladder", but the music and sound of the band has gotten better through the last few years, up to newer tracks like "xHardcore Songx", and their great cover of "I Against I". I've always enjoyed how the group has been able to play on the culture of the hardcore scene at the moment in their art and topics, and this is no exception- the cover is simply of the average hardcore kid sporting a BK hoodie and a backpack with patches and pins. Easily, and enough, said. A good band. Always has been.

Deal With It

This features the hard to find tracks from the band that put Erie, PA, on the map. Whether you're into the band or not, it's an undeniable fact that they've led the Erie troops and created a scene that's quite impressive. This CD features 3 comp tracks, the "Ladder" EP, and the out of press debut 7" "Shadowcast". They pleay heavy and aggressive upbeat hardcore with lyrics of love and life. A must have for any BK fan. A good buy for the newcomer.

Soul Search

Brother's Keeper is one of the best modern hardcore bands that carries great elements of hardcore music: the message, power, aggression, and pure energy. It really shows in the remake of "I Against I" by Bad Brains, making their hard hitting LP supplemental for these deft musicians.
