TRUSTKILL NEWS ENTRY OCT 15, 2007 @ 12:18 PM EST (1,796 VIEWS)
Welcome STONERIDER to the Trustkill Family! From Atlanta, GA, these guys add the classic twist to southern rock, and their debut album "Three Legs Of Trouble" will be out January 29, 2008. You can check out new songs "Rush Hour" on Trustkill, and "Wild Child" at the band's Myspace page.

StoneRider's album is as catchy as it is timeless. "Three Legs Of Trouble" was produced by Bill Appleberry (Operator/Wallflowers), who spends time playing keys for Joe Walsh (The Eagles). "We couldn't be happier with him and the way he made the record with us," relates guitarist Neil "Staxxx" Warren.

A huge part of StoneRider's organic creative process has been sharing the growth with their fans on their Myspace, talking about the importance of bands like Zeppelin and The Who. "We feel that's a huge responsibility!" Krutzky admits. "Most young kids don't know who those bands are and how good they were. Their music is timeless. The Who, the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Robert Johnson, they were true innovators. Our job lies in staying true to that essence."

Check out what people are already saying:

"StoneRider's 'Three Legs Of Trouble' is the kind of hook-ridden Southern rock album you'd hear blasting out of shady drinking hole somewhere hot and sweaty. There isn't a single song on this thing that doesn't make you want drop your beer, jump onto the bar and lip-synch the whole way through." - Rosa Henriquez, Metal Edge Magazine

"Stonerider has a killer, rock-your-ass-off sound, and it's full of songs with giant radio-friendly choruses. This band has a bright future ahead of them." - Pete Schiecke, AOL Radio

"Somewhere Jimmy Page is wishing he was young again. StoneRider are dirty rock n' roll the way it should be." - Sari Delmar, PureGrainAudio

Stay tuned for more info and tour dates!
